On or about 3 Jan 2005 we ordered one million of the new Iraqi Diner, paying with a cashiers check. The entire transaction was supposed to occur within about 20 day's total. On 28 Jan we had still not received the Diner, and so we inquired with them about the status of the order.
Here is their reply: Due to current high demand, packages will now be received by our patrons within 5-10 business days. However, we will be making every effort possible to have your item delivered to you sooner. Today is now 8 March, and we are still waiting. As an added bonus, they have now taken down their web site at least others don't get scammed.

This is a scam that is currently making the rounds. This web site http://www.xe.com/iqd.htm has information explaining the scam going on and all the reasons why it's not a good idea to currently invest in th Iraq economy. By the way, 1 US Dollar is currently worth 1462.90 IQD. Best of luck to you.
