TERRIBLE OWNER!! BAD SERVICE FROM WAITRESS. WAS GOING HERE FOR YEARS AND TODAY ORDERED SAME THING AS USUAL BUT THEY DECIDED TO CHANGE THE PRICE OF BUY ONE OMLETTE AT REG PRICE AND 2ND IS A DOLLAR , WE PAY FOR 2 COFFEES.
WE ORDEREDS OUR REG OF 2 OMLETTES AND 2 COFFEES AND WERE CHARGED FULL PRICE FOR BOTH OMLETTES AND 2 COFFEES. WHEN WE TRIED TO DISCUSS THIS WITH THE OWNER, HE JUST SAID HE CHANGED THE SIGN ON THW WINDOW LAST WEEK SO THAT THE OMLETTE SPECIAL ONLY APPLIED TO LOX EGG AND ONION OMLETTE AND HE REFUSED TO HONOR OUR REG ORDER FOR THIS ONE LAST TIME. BE AWARE- WE WERE NOT TOLD BY THE BAD WAITRESS THAT THE PRICES HAD CHANGED AND THE SENILE OLD MAN OWNER EXPECTED US TO READ THE WINDOW ADS.
I ORDERED MY REG, SPANISH OMLETTE W NO PEPPERS AND MY HUSBAND HAM OMLETTE-- I SAID LOX WAS ALOT MORE MONEY THAN TOMATOE SAUCE AND HAM, I WAS TOLD --" TOO BAD, READ THE WINDOW". HE WAS EXCEEDINGLY RUDE TO A CUSTOMER HE HAS KNOWN FOR YEARS!!!! POOR BUSINESS!!! WE WILL NEVER BE GOING BACK TO" BAGEL TREE" BECAUSE OF HOW WE WERE TREATED, THE FOOD IS NOT THAT GOOD. ALL OUR FRIENDS IN THE AREA WILL BE AWARE OF THIS-
POOR BUINESS MOVE. WE CALLED WHEN WE GOT HOME TO DISCUSS THIS AGAIN WITH "OWNER""- HE REFUSED TO DICUSS THIS, YELLED AT ME AND FINALLY HE SLAMED THE PHONE DOWN ON ME! IF YOU HAD BEEN GOING TO A RESTAURANT/ BAGLE SHOP FOR MANY YEARS AT LEAST 2XS A WEEK, WOULD YOU READ THE WINDOW SIGNS PLASTERED ALL OVER THE WINDOWS EVERY TIME YOU WALKED IN?? BAD BUSINESS- NEVER AGAIN AT THIS PLACE!!

I do hope you had alot of fun writing your disgusting reply.
It was not about a discount, we first got a check for the amount we always pay and then the check was taken off the table and changed to a higher price. I know if we are regulars and do not care if you think we are not! We are aware of what we do, not you!
I do not care to discuss this with someone as ignorant as you are.I think you only have time to sit and respond to these posts because you are bored!

So the SIGN in the window was to much effort for YOU to read?? How does that work?? The price was changed the PREVIOUS WEEK! Then YOU come in a "supposedly" regular customer and make a fuss over the price that had been changed the week before. How does that make YOU a regular customer?? If YOU didn't notice the SIGN IN THE WINDOW changed, then YOU must NOT be a regular customer. EIther way, YOU DIDNT READ!! And when the wait staff has to answer YOUR question which boils down to how cheap YOU are, YOU get upset? Get over yourself princess!! BOOHOO!! You didn't get to save some money on your breakfast. Its NOT a national tragedy. Its the cost of EVERYTHING going up. Its this little thing called INFLATION!! Im sure YOU have heard about it. Did YOU perhaps think YOU were IMMUNE from having to pay the costs associated with LIVING?? Things change. LIfe happens. Move on. All YOU have done is show how much of a scammer YOU truly are. YOU expected and demanded that they honor a OLD PRICE. You even say it....ONE LAST TIME. What makes YOU think YOU DESERVE to have a discount? YOU bad mouth the food, yet CLAIM you are a regular customer. SO regular that YOU didn't even notice when the price changed. SO MAKE UP YOUR MIND! Which is it?? Is it CRAPPY FOOD or are YOU just saying that in a petty form of revenge? You know since the "SENILE OLD MAN" would not give YOU YOUR FOOD at a discount. Thankfully, this business DESERVES their chance to tell THIER side of the issue. Im going to email this restaurant and point them to YOUR POST!! Nothing YOU do online is anonymous. EVERYTHING you do is logged somewhere. WIth JUST a court order, this business that YOU have ACTIVLY DEFAMED can prove 100% that YOU WROTE THIS POST!! So now not only will YOU not be getting a cheaper price for your meal but YOU have also put yourself at risk for being sued for defamation! And THAT is NOT CHEAP! YOUR First Amendment rights ARE NOT PROTECTED when YOU defame an entity in a MEDIA OUTLET!! That is what the web is and all YOU have done is show YOU are the problem. YOU ARE CHEAP!!! YOU ARE A SCAMMER!! YOU HAVE DEFAMED A INNOCENT PARTY BECAUSE YOU ARE A SPITEFUL WRETCH! Next time Im down in Florida, Im going to stop by that shop. Im sure they are nice people and would be willing to regal us ALL with the tale of the snippy broad who tried to scam them and the nice fat lawsuit that came from it.
