So my family and I were Scheduled to go to

San Diego for vacation, So naturally I wanted to tone up a little bit. So I decided I could try the 30 day membership for $5 dollars, after I had called the gym and they assured me I could cancel no problem after 30 days because I actually told them I wouldn't need it any longer then that! They said no problem come in try it out for a month , and then at the end of the month send a letter to corporate with your information and they will cancel it.

So I went like 9 times, and then I decided it was always packed they closed so early I was barely off work by the time they closed so I decided to cancel it before the 30 days , so I sent corporate a letter to cancel the membership, never heard a word from them for about 2 months, then I get a letter in the mail saying I owe them 1532 dollars for a years membership! I almost fell on the floor. So naturally I called customer service and told them I sent the letter and she said yes we'v recieved your letter but in the contract you signed it states you have to go 12 times, I read that contract like 8 times, no one in there does it say that. I told her she wouldn't see a dime from me.

Plus they charged my credit card 200 dollars for the second months fees which caused my account at TCF to go negative cause I wasn't expecting that 200 dollars to come out, so every little thing I charged on my card had a Overdraft fee attached to it. So I ended up owing TCF 500 dollars because of Ballys! and they dont care at all. To this day I still get letters in my mailbox saying they sent me to collections blah blah blah. I refuse to pay them. Dont ever ever go to ballys they are scam artist. And if anyone knows anything I can do please respond to this. Thanks Hope I helped someone in someway .
