BancoMex And Humburto Thieves!!! Humburto creates fake charges and pads his pockets with your hard earned money! Munster Indiana
In July we were offered a nice house from our neighbors, I went to the yellow pages and found BancoMex which offered 10 day closing. I call them and was told they could approve us. We went in that day and filled out all the paperwork. Humberto showed us a list charges we had to pay up front for. $755.00 worth of charges. He also said we needed three months of mortgage payments and homeowners insurance in the bank. None of which we had.
So we took our happy selves to the bank and got a personal loan for $2600.00 the 755 and what we needed in the bank. well after nothing happening for a month we called humberto and we were told that due to a lein on the property with the railroad, we couldn't purchase the house. So we asked for our money back, and he said it could take up to two weeks. Another month went by and no money we were told that he couldn't get "them"? to send the check. another month and many calls that were never returned we were told that our money wasn't refundable, and we were given a signed agreement.
It had all the fees listed except a stand-by fee which IS NONREFUNDABLE, we didn't pay this, our money was refundable, something we had asked him about before we ever left his office on the first visit. If you ever need a mortgage Never go through BancoMex in Munster Indiana! We now have to take them to small claims court. But we did file a request for an investigation with the Attourney General
