Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
This banking staff apparently is not trained and or supervised. They ripped me off $5000.00; they just assumed I guess that I was to be dead and gave my money away

The whole purpose for having a POD on my account; was totally bogus.

Another Law suit?

#2Consumer Comment

How came ever time I turn around there is another person suggesting another law suit. Maybe Katherine should be advised that for ever law suit she suggest, the consumers will pay for. The thing you must remember that everytime someone beats the big bad corporation in court for a large amount, those expenses are broken down into little pieces that all future consumers pay for. A perfect example is the health care and health insurance. The huge number of frivalous law suits flying around the health business is causing the price of services to skyrocket, something we will all be paying for in the future. Please, don't scream law suit at every little thing! I am having trouble keeping up with expenses these days. Everything is increasing faster in price than the rate of my pay. As for the Bank of America complaint. How bout this, I don't like B of A because of my own reasons (fees and my loyality to another bank), but I can't believe that someone would put a person(related or not) on their account that they didn't trust. And I can't believe that person, being so so trusted, withdrawing money from the account(whether it was the banks fault or not but shame on the bank for that kind of mistake). I mean, what kind of relationship is that(kin or not). Your stupid enough to involve a person like that with your money whether your alive or gone and for what reason you'd even have a relationship with a person that would steal your money like that is beyond me. Let's say your innocent, didn't think the person would ever do that to you. Little piece of advice: don't trust anyone not even your father(not saying he took it, but somebody did). Now Bank of America gave the money out and they can't be the takers if they are the givers. Anyway, so who ever it is, really doesn't think much of you considering they took $5k for you. All this after you trusted them to be on your account as a POD.

Illegal Information

I may be off a little when i say that the coment left by Diane, is illegal, but i believe all information regarding your bank account is confidential. From what I remember about BofA's many "Company Polocies" they wont even tell you they have a account for someone unless you happen to be on the account as well. So I question the right for Diane to say that your FATHER or ANYONE for that matter was the THIEF. If I could give you one piece of advice, It would be to consult with a lawyer.

You failed to mention that: Bank of America does except responsibility for the loss of your money do to teller error, you forgot to mention that it was your FATHER who took the money and your FATHER whom you cannot get your money back from because HE lost it in a scam. So before you bad mouth an employee or company, you need to give ALL the information.
