You may have waived your right to any type of law suit (class action or otherwise). There may be a clause limiting you to binding arbitration. Alot of companies are now burying such a clause in their terms and conditions. If there is, the credit card issuer will surely bring it up. I am not familiar with California law so there may be a way around it if it exists. It would be a good idea to research it further so you are prepared for any resistance from the credit card company.
