Bank Of America Military Credit payment paid early caused me Big ripoff Fort Campbell Kentucky
I paid my billing statement on the 4th of the month wanting to ensure it was paid prior to a field exercise. I was then charged for late payments an a over the limit, fees. The Clerk explained to me that it is, Bank Of America's policy that Every card holder must make a payment with in the report period and paying early is not authorized. Sure they took the money but it will never be recognized as a payment for the future bill, even with a letter explaining what the money is for. I was charged over $70.oo and my interest rate went up to 29% within two months.
They told me if I didn't want to pay the interest now set on my account I should pay off my card. Or should I say my wife's card.
By the way she didn't have any income at the time.
