Bank Of America from 9.99% to 24.49% for no reason at all . my credit scores are over 700. Wilmington, Delaware
I received my Bank of america statement. Some inserts were included with it informing me they were going to raise my APR 20.49 to 25.49% I have never been late . I could "opt out" and continue making payments @9.9% ( which I did, in fact I closed the Account ).
luckily I'm in a position to handle this.
I called FIA Card services,N.A. at p.o. box 15026, Wilmington ,DE,19850 at 1 800 362.6299, to ask why they were raising my rates, they said because of high balances. I guess the logic being, it would be easier for me to pay down my high balances with a higher interest rate. If I loaned money to someone at this rate ,they would call it loansharking and racketeering
