Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I am a mother of 3 children that got scammed for 70K.

About two years ago, my sister in law brought new friend into the family. Shortly after, that friend asked for some financial help for her "growing" business. This request or you may say proposal sounded very attractive.

For each 35K we would make 800 dollars a month as a flat fee. One of the conditions was that if we ever decide to break the contract we may do so and we would get the entire 35K back. Of course we have decided to borrow money against our home equity and invest in this new friends business. At the time it seamed like a great deal. The Home equity is only 4% and the profit is over 600 dollars a month. Sounds great, does not it. Until last month.

All of a sudden we were asked to met them in the some strangers apartment in NYC. Where we were told that they will not pay us anymore the interest or the principal. After that day this company no longer returns our phone calls, emails or letter. Our whole family has landed to this business close to a half a million dollars. Where every dollar is borrowed against our homes. 5 families with 2-3 children in each is under tremendous stress and financial shock.

We are at the point that we would have to sell our houses and this company who inserted them selves as our friends don't care. The house that this couple leaves in costs over 2 million dollars. The 3 cars and a boat that they own is possibly another 500K. I don't mean to count what they have but I feel that we were "SCAMMED" badly. And now 5 families will be homeless.

I apologize for my not so good English, but I am a Russian immigrant that has made a big mistake. And it is impacting the life of my family. I am looking for you help to expose this scam to public. And possibly to help to bring this company doings to justice.

I know you get a lot of very interesting stories daily, but I urge to help in any way you can.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Irina

I was employed by Alex and Olga at Checker Transportation, in Seattle WA, before they moved to NY. I can attest to them being dishonest. The IRS was winding up to charge Alex with criminal allegations at the time I left the company. I had no desire to be part of that kind of business. I will not disclose all I saw, but I can tell you that used cars, towncar service, limo service and towing were not all that went on there. Let's just say he and his wife had a thing for little children, and leave it at that. Maybe I will check this report someday and see an arrest report for those two. Maybe then I would get the satisfaction missing from my final paycheck they never wrote to me...

Alex, I read this article about your company and your response as well. First of all, Let me explain you my relationship with your company. I worked for your company as a consultant at Assured Guaranty Inc, NYC from Sep 2005 till Nov 2005. I left Assured Guaranty in good terms with client. But You guys still didn't pay me last month (Nov 2005) amount wiich is almost 12,000 USD. It's been more than a year now. After chasing you guys down for 6 months, your Accounts dept (Cyndi Pescopio) aggreed that Baotech will pay my money in 1000 USD /month installment, which I agreed on. But just after 2 payments, your third check bounced due to insufficient funds. Just tell me in plain words, what's the deal with you guys? Reply me if you have any answer for me. Puneet

I guess, Freedom of speech is a very powerful concept, especially when statements are made without any censorship and/or verification of truthfulness and completion. It was very tempting to just ignore this claim, but we've decided to submit our response just this once. After all, how many small businesses or persons can sustain the Rip Off Report: Baotech - Olga And Alex Milman Money Scam ripoff ... title that is returned at the top of the list by your favorite search engine like Google when your first and last names are entered in the search criteria? Perhaps, it would be fair to mention that to date BAOTECH has paid your company, Essential Links, Inc, $159, 545.00 including principal and yearly interest of 27.5% (Irina, as you know, this can be substantiated by copies of 24 cancelled checks, paid to Essential Links, Inc). As you are stated, those payments were made until last month when, after independent reevaluation of the company, it became clear that the financial restructuring is inevitable, which was explained during the meeting you are mentioning. We understand that it is very hard to let go such lucrative return, but we are going forward with the restructuring regardless. This will affect you and all other investors. A.
