as an ex-employee of 14 months also hired at the charlotte terminal i can say that the company is probably the worst i have ever worked for BUT this was also the first large company i have ever worked for, previosly i worked mainly for smaller more personal companies. in my experience with this company they totally suck at getting u home on a regular basis, they nitpick u to death, and u are left sitting a LOT. they have cut the pay for mileage, layover, detention and appreciation bonuses. However, the equipment is late model and in the case of the truck that i was assigned (which is the same truck shown on the website), it was like stepping into a brand new truck it was so clean. Now a freightliner columbia has got to be one of the most unsafe trucks i've ever been in and the added mirrors are almost useless the way they put them on. The way the windshield wipers work when its raining or snowing/salt spray, anything that gets on your windshield you lose probably 30% of your visibility plus the hood mirrors that they put on are situated where they are in this visibility obstruction and they dont allow u to see down the whole side of the unit when u can see them. The seats are VERY uncomfortable but there is plenty of room in the truck for storage.
