Basin Land Title & Abstract Incorporated They sold me a house and now i find out i dont have a clear title to sell it. I had a buyer until they did a title search and my neighbors house was built on my property and the county knew about it before i bought it. I have surveys to prove it. Roosevelt Utah
I bought a house from Freedom Reality and lived in it for 5 years, put it on the market with Freedom and had a buyer until they did a title search on it. The report came back and said my neighbor's house was built on my property so i went to duchesne county and it had never been recorded even before i bought it. they stopped me from selling it and i lost the buyer because of title issues. its been over 3 months and nothing is happening, so i went to a lawyer he told me to come back after this was over to sue for damages, and the county would only get ammunity for this, and basin land title & abstract company arent responsible for checking on the title but i paid them over $800.00 to do a title search before i purchesed the home. so between duchesne county, freedom reality and basin land and title nothing is getting done and i am stuck with this contract to sell it with freedom and they are showing it but still cant sell it. Now my neighbor cant sell her home until our property line is recorded but we tried to do a quick claim deed between us so there wouldnt be a problem but neither one of us can get anywhere with these people when its there fault for not doing there job in the first place. please help me i have all the proof just need the right people to help me. thanks
