Bausch + Lomb, Reward Central Ultra Contacts Rebate Scam Nationwide
Going to Sam's club to purchase contacts, I was given a flyer for a $60 off rebate if I were to buy a year's worth of contacts. That's four packs at $60 each ($240) with a "free" one with the $60 rebate. I followed the instructions for the rebate to a tee as I always do, and go a response that my rebate was invalid because it missed the criteria....what the criteria was that was inaccurate, you ask? It was for two bulls*** reasons:
One because it was an INVALID LOCATION even though the name of the promotion was "2H 2015 Walmart and Sam's Mail in Rebate Offer(15-22691)"...as if that isn't clear enough!
Two because they said the store location was ilelgible on the receipt, yet the price, date, etc. was all still legible? Doubt it.
Just a sad, unethical way that these large companies are trying to suck new customers in and keep their money unjustly. Rebates should be objective. I turned in everything needed objectively, and they review it as subjectively as possible. Disgusting, terrible ethics.
