I had applied for a what was supposed to be Front Desk position through craigslist. I was contacted the very next day and was given an interview on that same day. When I got there I was given an application to fill out. I fill out the application and was seen in about 20 minutes. There person I met with was Ms.Acosta. She seemed very nice and really convinced me that I would be hired once I went through training. And when I questioned it and said this was to easy her exact words were it's not too easy you are paying for it. So then I decided to go through with it. She told me I could start class that same evening at 5pm it was about 4:30 pm. So then I proceded to pay for 4 certificates she said I would need. Fireguard, Metal Detection, 8hr security and 16hr OTJT Security certificate. I took classes that tuesday.
When I went home I discovered they didn't even have a web site and thats when things started looking ugly. I started to call the office and didn't get an answer. I decided to go in before my scheduled class on that thursday since wednesday I wasn't scheduled. I then met with Ms.Acosta and explained to her that I wasn't feeling secure about this and that I wanted to cancel my contract and she said she couldn't help me with that and sent me to see a gentlemen who claimed was the floor manager who oversees everything. He proceded to tell me that once I attented a class that was it I would just lose my money if I decided not to continue. Then he proceded to show me what the procedure was once I completed my training as far as what my license would look like when it came back when they sent out the paperwork from the 8 & 16 hour training. So seeing no way out I continued the training and got for certificates.
The day after my last training I met with another gentlemen who claimed to be a placement counselor. He then sent me out to security companies who just said we will call you when something comes up. So what happened to the job placement they promised? I'm not the only one out there but maybe one of the only ones to go public.I hope this helps anyone thats thinking about paying for these services upfront.. Buy The Chief Newspaper and you will see that it's much cheaper especially since the don't get you the job and you will have to pay for the fingerprinting yourself thats not included in the fees I already paid.

To whom ever monitors this site, the person who put this report up, not only lied about this person but also forged their signature. I demand that this report be taken down do to it being false, if not this site will be involved with the same lawsuit that the person who wrote this will be receiving. The person knows who they are.
