People mean well by giving THOSE gift cards to their employees or friends instead of cash. The problem is lays on the fact that the GIFT cards are self serving means to take the money away from you if you don't use it. That is, if the gift is worth $30.00, the company has the right to take a maintenance fee of $3.00 per month if you don't use it until its value is ZERO. Also, in order to use the card the company makes it somehow difficult to do so. I tried using my card serveral times, and every single time the card got declined. Finally I got fed up, called, found that I had lost $48.00 on fees for all those months I tried using it unsuccessfully, and at the end I came to and found out that you have to register the card, which I don't have a problem doing, except if you go to the site- URL: BBT.com/giftcard, you will find out that it is impossible to register the card. There is a platora of links and advertisings but none of them is stating "Register your card". In my opinion all these unconveniences are just another way to pocket the money at front. States should not allow these companies to use deceitful tactics to inconvenience clients and "legally" take the value of the card away silently.
