I needed to make a career change due to health problems. I had a choice between BCTI or ITT Tech.I chose BCTI because it sounded more promising and at the time I had no experience with computers or how it applied to business. I went in to talk to a representative and basicly was talked into signing up for classes. So I spent 10,000 dollars and started classes. They were very useful in several fields, as I knew nothing about them. I became a quick typist, good at data entry, and they even allowed me to do some things in Quickbooks Pro. Ii could have used more practice with exel, but I graduated top of the class. I received the coveted "Leadership" award, "outstanding attendance" award, and my completion certificate. Ii went on 2 interviews to no avail. I was told that I needed a degree or did not enough time in the job. The promise at the beginning of the school was to ensure that I was going to be in a job doing well by the time of graduation, that I was "Guaranteed placement". I received nothing. The teachers were nice enough but I only found one that seemed to know what he was talking about. He also seemed to have knowledge of something going down with the school, but kept it to himself, giving our class small hints that possibly we were spinning our wheels. After graduation, I never did work again in the state of Washington. As I saw it, most positions with the knowledge I now possessed wanted a BA, or more time in the position I was applyig for, or labor-related positions.

Lucky for me, I moved to Florida and spent another $500 to get myself into insurance classes. This is what I am doing now. I do not want to pay this school a cent and haven't in protest of nothing given to me so nothing given to them. I do, however, have to pay the state funds. What I want out of this suit is to have my fees abolished. I do understand the need to pay the state. I believe they were taken for a ride, too.
