Beachbody Gospel Body Harrassing Phone Calls Internet
On Monday, while watching an info-mercial about a fitness product called BODY GOSPEL, I learned that I could obtain the fitness/workout program for 2 payments of $34.95 (after, of course, originally starting at 3 payments at that amount)...If I called right then, I could have express delivery upgrade FREE. I called. BIG mistake! I courteously listened for many minutes about the product, about "upgrades," and about additional products, etc. that I could add on. I said yes to one "free" trial and no to another. Finally, the bottom line came out to today's payment of $65...No way! So, I said, no...I am unable to afford that right now. I told the rep to cancel the entire order. I said it clearly, and they had "recorded" the call. For the next two days I received calls from them. I figured it out by looking up the phone number, and finding it listed here. Finally, I called them and told them to stop calling. They assured me that my name and number would be removed from their calling list. That was Tuesday. Today is Thursday and the calls have begun again. I have called again, and spoken to Lisa who assured me my name and number would be removed. I told her that I was putting their number here on ripoff and that I had already heard that same speech on Tuesday also assuring me that I would not be called again. Hmmmmmmm....whoever created GOSPEL Body probably should have researched the ethics of the company through which they were going to market their product! What a shame!

The Body Gospel workout is priced at $39.95 billed in 2 monthly installments plus s&h of $14.95 and any applicable sales taxes. We do apologize that you have continually been called regarding reinstating your order. We will ensure that your information is removed; however I will need you to give me a call at 866-204-8865 so I can document your contact information and have it removed permanently. All we need to verify is your full name, email and your contact phone number which you wish to remove. Once again we do apologize for any inconveniences and appreciate the opportunity to resolve this issue. Beachbody is a wonderful company with GREAT products. I look forward to helping solve any problems you may have.

Even on the "do not call" registry it takes longer to be "on" the list

I am sorry, but common sense should tell you that if you request ANYWHERE to be put on the do not call registry that you have to wait a few weeks for it to take effect. ANY company you call will tell you it will take a few weeks to take effect. Here is a link for the National Do not call list and it states : What to expect: It takes 31 days for calls to stop.
