Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

This company offered free trial products and then billed me for the samples and also set it up as auto monthly billings and shipments. This company advertised that their cosmetics were endorsed by Dr. Oz and Ellen Degeneris.

First of all, the products don't work at all. Web reviews about this scam showed hundreds of customers saying they didn't work and only one that said they did work.

Secondly, they offered FREE samples paying only freight and handling, which I ordered and said nothing about the fact that in 13 days from shipment of these free samples, they bill you the full price unless you call them and agree to pay the return freight plus a $40 restocking charge to return both samples. Also they did not say that this order for 2 free samples would automatically enroll me in a monthly ship and bill program.

Thirdly they did not say what the regular price of each product was - they are charging 2-4 times what the highest quality commercial equivalents charge (a 30-day supply of eye ointment is $92.70 and a 30-day supply of face cream is $97.83).

None of this was disclosed during the process of ordering the free samples and they got my credit card info through my payment of freight and handling for both. After I received a 2nd shipment, I called them to say that I never ordered more than the free samples and a very pushy man from India screamed over every sentence to tell me how wrong I was. He said that I had agreed to either return these free samples in 13 days or be billed $190.62 for the free ones and then then get a new shipment for the same price every 30 days. The only way to stop it was to call and cancel and return the 2nd shipment by paying freight and a $40 restocking charge, plus pay the full amount for the 1st "FREE" order that wasn't free at all.

He claimed the terms were right there on the website. I went to their website www.beautyimpressions.net and it isn't until you get to the very bottom of the website in the smallest font possible (black letters against a dark red background so you can't see it) does it say "terms and conditions". When you click on it they do spell out these awful terms as well as all the standard legal jargon that no one should have to read just to place an order for free trial sized products. They did their best to hide the truth! The instructions with the products say to see the best results you should use them for 90 days, yet they charge you full price after 13 days from shipment (only 10 days of use)!

Hundreds of customers on your website agree with me - the whole thing is a scam! The product doesn't work, it is hugely over-priced, it was not endorsed by Dr. Oz or anyone and the terms and conditions were totally hidden. I mad a huge "stink" with the company and ultimately got a refund for 100% of the second shipment and 50% of the first "free" shipment which wasn't at all free. Most of the other customers did not do as well as I did at negotiating a settlement. I want this company shut down as what they are doing is illegal and dishonest!
