My Daughter, Yuumi Obama, and ex-wife, Susie Obama, were driving Toyota Camry and Prius C model 2013 bought my name. They went to Beaver Toyota car dealer in St. Augustine to replace their car to larger car on 4/17/15.

They found what car they wanted to buy and told them that they want to buy so asked them to prepare the contract to take it to me to sign on same day. My ex-wife and Daughter called me from their home to sign the contract when the dealer person comes to my home. However I refused their request on the phone since the Monthly payment of loan for 75 months were unbelievably high like $7K to 10K more than normal price. However dealer heard I do not want to sign the contract and refuse to release the car so he asked co-sign to my Daughter to keep her new car and sign to ex-wife to purchase by herself instead of me. I believe the purchaser on the contract my ex-wife signed was me but I and my ex-wife could not verify it since we never received the copy of contract Susie signed.

I picked up  Susie’s new car at her house in next morning on 4/18 and drove to the dealer and parked the car at their parking lot and returned the keys to them with explanation that she want to cancel to purchase it. However dealer called to my Daughter on same day and told her to reduce the price. I and Susie went to dealer to expect having new contract since they offered new deal. Financial person brought us to his office and told me to complete the contract for the car my Daughter wanted to buy. So I signed as a co-buyer on the contract and release my car to use as a trading in. After completed it, I asked to do new contract for Susie’s car but he told us that the contract was completed already on 4/17 so only they needed my sign to release the Prius C to trade in but he said I already signed. I told him that was not fair because I came to have new contract they called to my Daughter and told her that they reduce the Monthly loan price and period of payment to 72 Months from 75 Months. They ignored our complaining and through the keys of new car in to Susie’s purse. We drove the new car back to home since we did not any car.

Susie’s new car is Toyota Venza XLE. The MSRP was around 37,000. The value for Prius C 2013 she used for trade-in was -4,000 so total was around $41,000.00.  She added premium bumper to bumper warranty that was $30 for 75 Months. The offer was $619 x 75 Months + $3,000 down payment = $50,175 . The price should be $50,175 - $30 x 75 Month = $47,925.00. They said they added 1.9% of interest so total of interest should be $703 and their broker fee and license fee should be around $600. I believe they ripped off $5,622.00. They did following thing they should not do to her as well.

  1. They did not change the purchaser name to her name from my name.
  2. They did not give the copy she signed nor the release agreement of Prius C I signed
