Complaint Review: BEAVERHOME - Suwanee Georgia

I was ripped off too. Neil said 45 days ago that me order was on the way. HA. This rip off stated last year. Lost about $1300 and I can not loss that much will out really hurting me.

I see this beavercarpets.com and it seems to be similar to the aformentioned beaverfloor. Is it the same company? thanks

Per court order, www.beaverfloor.com and www.earthfloor.com were shut down. The State of NY moved for civil contempt against them. OF course, Neal and Cole neglected to make their required restitution payments as required. The current address of BeaverFLoor is 1305 Calvery Church Rd in Gainesville, GA. This is their 3rd location since Fall 2002. However, law enforcement officials paid them a visit today, 5-10-04. This was after NEAL MARTIN WAS ARRESTED Friday, the 7th of May. COLE MARTIN WAS ARRESTED TODAY to join his father in the Hall County detention center. What happens from here, I do not know. I do know there is a new company by Cole called Great Hardwoods...buyer beware.

I too have been ripped off by this fat a*s loser. He lives down the road from me in a 3 million dollar house on lake lanier. He and cole live their. They had porsche and ferrari and BMWs HE stole 20000 from me. My telephone numer and email is on bob villas website. Call me write me. I am going to bring him down. ATTRN General in GA is investigating him also. He stole my truck wrote me bad checks and Cole is a homo. Liar. You guys want him.... I will post that number shortly.

Thank you Brian for responding back. So far non one has seen a dime from the AG in NY. If we are lucky, we may see around 83 cents on the dollar. Imagine the people who have lost over $25,000 and have been waiting almost 2 years? Neal told the AG that he sold BeaverFloor to an investor group. Guess who's in that group? Cole Martin!! Cole has bs'd the AG and I bet he'll get out of this someway. The AG believes Cole will do the right thing. Good old slick and slimey Cole. Why anyone would believe a word from this thief is beyond me. So now my only hopes lies with other investigating agencies. There have been victims of his scams for at least the last 7 to 8 years. I am not suprised that other employees have contacted you. He treated them the same way he treats vendors and clients. With regards to pay he would actually bounce the check and then we would demand cash. Unfortunatly he never paid for the fee that the bank charges which over the course of a year can add up. I am very lucky that I was able to work myself out of that situation. Yes he was located in Canada. Until 1999 everything was there. In 1999 he moved the offices to Niagara Falls, NY with the manufacturing still in Canada. After that I believed he began a manufacturing facility in the states. Now he currently resides in GA with a plant there and the one in Niagara Falls. The reason he is still walking around is that he makes sure that he covers himself with enough B.S. that the law can only fine him and not arrest him. I believe the attorney general of NY has ordered Neal to pay damages which I believe he did not do. He will never change. I am hoping that someone will have an idea as to how to finally get him.

Brian, I have many questions to ask. As you can probably see, there are many, many victims of Neal Martin and Cole Martin of BeaverFloor. There are many reports on www.bobvila.com as well. You should read them and let me know what you think. I guess one question I have, did BeaverFloor every have an operation on Canada or was that just a marketing ploy? Believe it or not, I was also contacted by 2 other ex-employees wishing me success in bringing Neal to get what he deserves, jail time. One claimed that Neal didn't pay him his last 2 weeks paychecks! That doesn't surprise me. In your opinion, how does Neal and Cole continue to get away with this? I don't know how he is still walking around.

This message is for Beth. I worked for Beaverhome about 4 years ago. They were crooks back then and from the postings it seems as if they still are. The poor ethics of this company spread beyond that of consumers to include vedors & employees. I would like to assist you in ending this scam once and for all. As of today 3-13-03, I still have not received my refund due me by 12-15-02. I continue to get the runaround from the owner, Neal Martin.
