My name is Todd and I am the Vice President of Beaverton Vision World. I am offering my name and contact information for anyone who has questions regarding this report. The author is "Evergreen"; however, I am all too familiar with this patient and her libelous ways and her name is not Evergreen. She has chosen to hide her identity because she knows that her accusations are false. Her statement is full of lies. I will take them on point-by-point. - The "All sales are final" sign has been in place since the office opened for business in 1989. To say that it mysteriously appeared after her visit is entirely untrue. - The patient was assisted in her frame selection with an ABO Certified Optician with 5 years experience. He did not tell her to cut her eyelashes. He simply stated that "some people have to cut their eyelashes to wear certain frames." - Call backs - The patient claims that we never called her back when in fact the opposite occurred. The patient was called repeatedly and refused to answer or return our calls. - Mail Fraud - This is entirely untrue and libelous. The patient had paid for the frame which we had in our possession. As stated above, we called her repeatedly but she refused to answer or return our calls. We had something which she had paid for so after two weeks of her not returning our calls we felt the only option was to ship her the frames. I fail to see how this is illegal or fraudulent. I ask you all this question...would you consider it illegal for someone to ship you something you had paid for? This patient attempted to have her credit card void the charges. The credit card sided with us. We refunded the cost of the frame but we could not refund the cost of the lenses which were specially manufactured for her. The patient has also demanded $1,000 on top of her request for a full refund. We refuse to pay such a claim with no merit. If you have any questions about this report please feel free to contact me at [email protected]. I will gladly discuss the merits of this claim with you, and I will not hide behind an computer screen and a false name. Sincerely, Beaverton Vision World
