My name John. I operate as a shift manager here at Becker Animal Hospital. We are here to provide the highest quality care available to our clients and their pets. We are here to service our clients. Pet owners are welcome to come by our office anytime if there is a concern or condition that needs top be addressed. This rebuttal to clarify some false statements reported by "anonymous". Firstly, our office has diagnosed the pets condition correctly. This pet suffers from a condition called an Eosinophilic Granuloma. The symptons are similar to those of certain allergic condtions in cats. This however is an immune system condition. the condition symptoms are usually sores in the mouth along with drooling as noted in the complaint. A small percentage of cats with this condition require removal of their teeth if the condition is of the more severe case. Symptomatic patients are generally treated with cortisone injections. This protocol is very similar for cats with allergic conditions as well. An allergy shot consists of steroid medicine. This client in particular has expressed personal opionions of hers in the lobby in front of other clients. Doctor Becker wrote a nice, courteous and NON threatening letter to her stating that any remarks she had with our staff, office and/or policies should be taken up in private with our managers and/or the doctors. Under no circumstances does any staff here poke clients in their chest as she states and reprimand a client. She is correct in that she has complained on other sites with the same false reports. Past a certain point, you have to not service some people or you will damage your organization. Her parting comments below confirm our suspicions, as also the negitive opinions about her voiced by the clients in the exam room who observed this scene. As far as the rude scientologist at the front desk; that is me. Why she would reference my religion is beyond me and is a personal attack. Grounds for labeling as a bigot if ones religious beliefs cause upset. I am here to service our clients as effieciently and courteously as possible.
