I have spoken to this former employee several times, exchanged emails with her, and had a Spanish-speaking employee call her to explain this issue, with no luck. Like most businesses, pay is in arrears. which is a standard business practice. We hold back one week, in order to process payroll for that week. This former employee was, in fact paid for every day that she worked with us, and received her last check a week after her last day worked.
