My experience with Bergstroms funiture store has been a consistant disapointment. I ordered a Stanley crib & changing table over 14 weeks ago. The reciept states that it was to be delivered in 6-10 weeks. At the 10 week point I began to call and ask for delivery status. I would be told to leave my number & someone would call me back, sometimes I would get a call, but most times nothing. When I would speak with someone who was in customer service, they would give me an excuse ( Stanley not returning phone calls) or point the finger (freight carrier on strike.) The issue that makes me angry is the lack of proactive customer service. Bergstroms knew I was frustrated with the delay, the least they could have done is keep me in the loop with truthful information. If I could have recieved one unsoliced call, explaining the status of my order, I would not be this upset. I am a salesperson that holds myself to a much higher standard. If I treated my customers with the same lack of respect, I would not have a job. All I can say is I hope this message reaches potential customers for Bergstroms & helps them walk away.
