COMPLAINT WHEN I SIGNED UP FOR THIS PRODUCT I SIGNED UP WITH THE UNDERSTANDING OF MONEY BACK GUARANTEE.

WHEN I SIGNED UP FOR THIS PRODUCT I SIGNED UP WITH THE UNDERSTANDING OF MONEY BACK GUARANTEE. I'VE BEEN USING THIS PRODUCT AND I HAS DONE NOTHING FOR ME. I CALLED ABOUT 6 MONTHS INTO TAKING THIS PRODUCT BECAUSE IT WAS NOT WORKING AND WAS TOLD THAT I COULD NOT CANCEL AND THAT I WAS SIGNED UP FOR A YEAR. WELL I JUST CALLED AGAIN (MONTHS LATER)AND TRIED TO CANCEL AND WAS TOLD THAT I WAS NOT IN THE PROGRAM TO RECEIVE MY MONEY BACK, THE MAN I TALKED TO (LEE) ON THE OTHER LINE SAID THAT HE COULD GIVE ME 1/2 MY MONEY BACK (AFTER HE SAID THAT I COULD NOT GET ANY MONEY BACK AND I SAID NO I WANT ALL MY MONEY BACK) SO I TOOK MY CONVERSATION TO A SUPERVISER AT LEAST I WAS LEAD TO BELIEVE I WAS TALKING TO ONE AND THE WOMEN SAID THAT I WAS NOT ON THE PROGRAM TO RECEIVE ANY MONEY BACK. WELL IF I WAS ON THE PROGRAM NOT TO RECEIVE ANY MONEY BACK HOWCOME THEN I WAS UNABLE TO CANCEL WAY BACK WHEN, WAY BEFORE THEY TOOK ALL MY MONEY AND CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD FROM TWO DIFFERENT COMPANIES AMOUNTING TO WELL OVER 300 DOLLARS 389 TO BE EXACT. THE TWO DIFFERENT COMPANIES ARE BERKELY AND ASKENZYTE.COM SO WATCH OUT AND BE AWARE THEY ARE DECEIVING. THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND CONTINUE TO BILL YOUR CREDIT CARD.

I ordered a sample supply and then sent it back and then another 60 day supply was sent out and automatically charged to my credit card. I had already cancelled before the 30 days was up. Not only are they sending it out they have been sending it to an old address of mine from 6 years ago and not the address I gave them. I tried dromias and it does not work and I do not want to be charged 70.00. I want to get my credit back and not receive anymore of their promotional medicine. I need to know how to go about stopping them from hitting my credit card again.

About three days ago I started trying to contact Berkeley Pharmacueticals to cancel my membership. I sat on the phone for over three hours waiting for someone to take my call. I tried again and again to call only to be put on hold listening to the descpiption of all the meds, they offer. Hours of waisted time....I believe that this is thier way to justify charging my bank account to be a member. They are never going to answer the phone. I can only suggest that anyone who is having the same problem getting in contact with this company should call their bank and explain the situation so your account will not be charged.

I have tried a product from Berkeley and I went to cancel my membership and the web site can not be found. The product did not do what it claims on TV. When you get the product it claims that it may help you. I will never order anything from them again.

Do a little bit of research and it will get you some results... Ohio AG's office has had more than 2500 complaints since January

#13Consumer Suggestion

Sun, August 15, 2004

I not only contacted the Ohio AG's office (they have had more than 2500 complaints since January 1, 2004) but I also faxed a copy of my comlaint to the local Cincinnati papers and TV stations. I got a reporter to do a story on the fraud. So do a little research on where to send your complaints and make sure Berkeley knows who you have sent them to. My credit card company is also working to get my money back (permanently) so I'm feeling pretty positive about this.

RIP OFF COMPANY... they AUTOMATICALLY bill your card

#14Consumer Comment

Sat, August 14, 2004

I got enrolled into a monthly program that I do not want to be enrolled in. This company promotes MISLEADING information because once they get ahold of your credit card number to pay for the shipping cost, they AUTOMATICALLY bill your card and refuse to take any shipments back. What a rip-off !!!

Consumer... notify the TV station that ran your ad of free samples

#18Consumer Comment

Fri, August 13, 2004

I will notify the TV station that ran your ad of free samples and your workers that took the credit card informtion. I was billed to my account and I did not receive a shipment I only received the samples and I was charged after I left a message with your area to cancel my order. Lately there is no one answering the telephone to hear my complaint. I will like to receive a notification from you saying that my account will be corrected and my money placed back in my account that you TOOK from my account.

I got charged without purchase or product!

#19REBUTTAL Individual responds

Mon, August 09, 2004

I got a free sample of a drug and made sure there was nowhere that said that I would get another shipment, but then I got a charge on my credit card. I put a report in through my bank to stop the charge and now I cannot get ahold of the company to stop this from happening in the future. They are cheats and they know it!

#20Consumer Suggestion

Try typing it again... although u typed it correctly in the rip-off report it is likely u mistyped online... I entered it exactly as u typed it and it took me directly to their website. I have added consumer comment on one other report regarding Berkeley Nutraceuticals and I stated there and will state here... I have personally had no problem with their policies which are outlined quite clearly on their website (I cannot account for information given on any phone in orders as I have only ever ordered from the individual product websites). The managed care program is clearly outlined on the product websites as well as the askberkeley website. My suggestion remains the same to any and all who ordered recently or plan to... go to the website and cancel the managed care program immediately upon receipt of the product. I offer a new suggestion that the day after you cancel online, that you call and confirm the cancellation has been processed.
