This is in response to Clydes retraction I also tried to speak with the Atlanta office directly and attempted to work it out with their Vice President. I found her neither happy nor professional. Instead and got threaten with a lot of legal action and to report me to the credit bureau for non-payment. Even how they are threatening with legal action if I do no shut up about my experience with their company. To be very blunt, if my experience had been what you say your experience was, I would not have posted my complaint on the ROR. I would have preferred that this problem to just go away, so I could focus on getting a job and paying my bills. But I also do not like being deceived, nor bullied. I do agree with you that the answer of what is going on with Haldane is right in front of you in newspaper articles like the below The Seattle Times / Job Seekers Should Watch Out for Pricey Career Advice / September, 2002 The Kansas City Star / Career counselor Bernard Haldane agrees to refund Kansans' money / September, 2002 The New York Times / Career Management Company Fights Complaints / January, 2002 The Business Link BBB online newsletter for LA / JOB CONSULTANT GETS CLIENTS FIRED UP, THEN WORKED UP / DECEMBER 1998 Financial Post Canada Ontario / Haldane not up to the job, say critics: Career-management firm: 'Hook, line and sinker, I fell for the beautiful picture' / January , 2002

EDitor's Comments: The above comments are forced statements derived from the victim in order to receive FULL or partial settlement from the Bernard Haldane SCAM which has bilked thousands of victims of millions of dollars fraudulently world wide.
Rip-off Report has relentlessly pursued this corrupt company for several months, obtaining very little success. It has been reported to the Rip-off Report that Bernard Haldane Associates are now motivated to settle, and have been giving victims most of or ALL their money back because they now know they have been under investigation for several months as part of a cooperative effort between several media outlets and Rip-off Report.com
Therefore, in our opinion, be warned---DON'T take even one penny less than what you are owed. BHA knows they have been caught red-handed and we are letting the word out so that victims will not accept a settlement less than what they are owed.
They will force you to file as part of the settlement a retraction to your Rip-off Report, making the following statement, or something very similar like the UPDATE above: After discussing my dissatisfaction with the VP, we came to an agreement to terminate the contract. I am now satisfied and fully apologize to Haldane for this report that I am having trouble to delete from this site.

My story might sound the same but I had a different outcome. I had differences with Bernard Haldane and did not know where to turn to get it resolved. After alot of confusion, I finally contacted them directly (something I should have done from the begining). Bernard Haldane listened and was more than happy to make things right. So to be fair, look at the total picture before flying off the handle. The answer to your problem is right in front of you. Call them and ask to speak to a Regoinal President. They want to work things out.
