When you read any of the reports given by the very crafty employees at Bernard Haldane - you must keep in mind that this is a company whos very root is lying to people - feeding on their insecurities and vulnerability to get their money. I am a current client of BHA - I say current because when you complain to these people - and threaten a law suit - they try to gag you by offering you a refund - but only if you sign a non-disclosure agreement stating that you will not talk of your relationship with BHA.
Well, I would not sign that agreement. I would rather be heard. I encourage others to do the same - I do realize that in today's economy the refund does seem more important than actually bringing these people to justice. That is what they have working in their favor. I am ready to name names - The person who "sold" me on BHA was a woman by the name of Diane Zarick. Her tactic is simple - compliment you, tell you how wonderful you are - and then rip you to shreds - making you feel like you absolutely NEED this service. And when you inform her that you do not wish to sign on - she will call you and ask you what is wrong with you - and make you feel as if you are making the biggest mistake of your life. When you first sign on - within weeks you are given "how are we doing" surveys.
Since the process is new - they always seem to be doing just fine. At that time you are told by your advisor that the reason you have not gotten the contacts is because you are not "market ready". But please take notice that after 6 months of your 3 year contract is up - You still have no contacts - and there are no more surveys.
This is a horrible company and needs to be stopped. They make a promise that they are going to get you in front of hiring decision makers in your feild - that is a lie.
Their contract is vague - they read it with you at the sales meeting - embellishing on what is written with false promises - but when you complain about those promises not being met - they go for a much more direct reading of thier ambiguous contract. The advisors - by the way only receive one weeks worth of training before they start advising you on how to find a job.
We need to organize - form a class action - or go to the press - hit the media - not as just one - but as a group. It is the only way we can put a company of this magnitude out of business.

After paying the money for my college degree - I received a diploma - something tangible which I can be proud of - after spending my money for my Bernard Haldane contract I was left with a form letter type resume, humiliation for having been swindled, and nothing else
