Purhased a Notebook Computer from Best Buy; item came with a 1 year 180 days warranty in writing.  After 3 months of use the Graphics Card stopped working; I took the notebook to a Best Buy store and they told me that they were not able to repair it, since the warranty was thru the MFG Company which in this case was HP.  They gave me the address and phone number of an HP Service Center which happened to be out of bussiness/closed.  I took my notebook to a different Best Buy store whom personell seemed more helpful, they sent my notebook out for repairs and after one week I received a call from them stating that my device was out of warranty and that I needed to come and pick it up.  I arrived to Best Buy and they not only told me they could not help but they also tried to charge me with $34.95 for shipping.  

I contacted HP (MFG) and they told me that they only honor the original warranty and not the refurbished one.

I do have my warranty in writing from Best Buy and I'm moving forward to Consumer Affairs on this.
