Best buy Rip-off rebate runaround Springfield Missouri
I got up at 4:00 in the morning,the day after Thanksgiving to take advantage of the special rebates on our computer that equaled up to $500!!! Got home that day hooked it up and sent off our rebate forms to the tee! We received in the mail that our rebate was not valid becouse we had returned the computer. The same one Im typing on now!!!
So off to our local best-buy we went and had them fax off our info to there "rebate center" with the managers name on it...It got lost!! But a miracle happened we got $100 in the mail but we have to resubmit in order to get the rest., we did... it doesnt exsist again! So I have to wait till March 8 for some strange reason to resubmit again and if that doesnt work on March 15"the deadline", we are past the date to get our rebate!
I have called to see if they received our fax both from us and Best-buy and they cant tell me! Nor can they tell me the phone # of the rebate processing center in Maine!!!!! In Missouri we say Show-me!! My next letter will go to the attorney general of Missiouri and Show him!! Resubmit my a*s! Well keep you posted!

keep fighting kicking and screaming for your refund

I work at the best buy in springfield. I do say to keep fighting kicking and screaming for your refund, but remember that it is not the fault of the workers in the store. Get a number of one of the managers there and call him every other day to let him know to keep a fire under the higher up's butts until something gets done about this. I don't like to see things like this about my store and I want them corrected asap.
