Los Angeles,#2UPDATE EX-employee responds

First of all, condensation has to come from somewhere, it wouldn't just come from overheating. Humidity might be the cause, or your son sweating on it overnight, or perhaps did you consider that he lied to you and actually did drop it in the toilet or something? I would say they are entirely justified in believing this was not a simple manufacturer's defect. Regardless, I would call the manufacturer and try to get it fixed; they will be more familiar with the product and this might be a known issue. Furthermore, I have never known a Best Buy employee who was rude to someone without cause, it would get them in loads of trouble. If you were genuinely pleasant, I see no reason that they would be rude to you in return, but most customers treat employees like the enemy when they go in for a return. I will refrain from passing judgment, though, maybe you really did meet a rude employee.
