Bestway Express lied ripoff Vincennes Indiana
As a driver of 22 years experience and been lied to from numerous times but not to where that it would reflect to my career to finding another job. I guess bestway to ruin your career is to work for a cheap lying company called bestway.
When I left cheap paying bestway I had discussed with my dispatcher that I was quitting to go for another company that had more to offer. Bless her heart for trying to change my mind but nothing offered but more work over the road. Nothing in regards to money so when time came to quit I had two choices. One was to deliver my tractor and trailer on monday to vincennes in. Or leave in a secured place so I called the night time dispatcher and explained my situation to him and to let him know that I had discussed with my daytime dispatcher that I was quiting. And I need to know what to do with their equipment as was instructed to leave the units at the truck stop and leave keys with the fuel desk as I did. So they could get the tractor and trailer later.
As followed their instructions to make it easier for them they take upon to ruin my reputation as a good driver for the past 22 yrs. by stating on my dac as abandonment of their equipment. As I do know that it is a privilege to have a authority to pull freight but not to lie. I wonder how many other drivers they do this too. They can't pay a decent wage and don't want you to work anywhere else to receive better pay by applying deogatory remarks on your dac report.
I would liked nevermore to see them get sued and stripped from their authority and put out of business. They won't think they're so smart.

If you have been driving for 22yrs then you should know...NEVER EVER ABANDON EQUIPMENT!!!!!. I don't care what any dispatcher tells you, you know they are pathological liars, always bring your equipment back to the company yard. Trucking 101, Elementary My Dear Watson. Suck it up, you messed up, Live with it.

BESTWAY WAS ONE OF MY BEST EMPLOYERS? IF YOU PICK UP THE TRUCK IN VINCENNES YOU NEED TO TURN IT IN AT VINCENNES. THEY TELL YOU IN ORIENTATION THAT THEY WILL GET YOU BACK HOME AND THEY WILL.IF YOU DIDNT THEN YOU DESERVE TO GET ABANDONMENT ON YOUR RECORD.YOU WERE TRUSTED AND EXPECTED TO BE A PROFESSIONAL WHEN YOU WERE HIRED.LEAVING EQUIPMENT AT A TRUCKSTOP WAS NOT A PROFESSIONAL THING TO DO? MAKES ME WONDER WHAT ELSE YOUR CAPABABLE OF DOING?I QUIT THEM BECAUSE MY HOMETIME WASNT RIGHT? BUT THATS JUST TRUKN! Man I feel your pain, These companys have us out there making the money. They sit and collect on what we do then have the nerv to lie when we chose to go to another company. I was in the same position a few years ago. Now I can not get a real driving job due to lies that they make up. I was told" hay man you are doing great one week". Then I go home to deal with an medical issue, they cut off my insurance and refuse to put me back to work ofter my Doctor released me to drive. I do think the Dak report should either be fair reporting or discontuined altogether. To many drivers looking for work, to many companys screwing them in the back side. Next time bring your own ky jelly, because all they will bring is cat litter...Good luck my friend....Tim
