Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
In late May 2006, I did a little research on technical college progams so I could study to earn my MCSE certification. I spoke to an admissions officer named "Sandra" (for the sake of this report, I am changing the person's name to "Sandra" instead of her real name)and explained thoroughly that I would not be able to start my classes until July. She continually interrupted me when I had a question concerning tuition or when I voiced an objection to starting in June. Apparently, she was more concerned with getting me signed up and signing me up for over $15,000 in student loans in addition to a PELL grant of $6,700.

The cost of the tuition was over $23,000 for a 14 month course! Of course, I know that I would not have to pay the PELL loan back, but I had no intention of incurring another $15,000 in debt. When I inquired about this, Cindy explained to me' "Oh, we are a private college and our class size is very small." Ok, I thought, I can understand about the class size. But my radar was now up.

And the MCSC I was looking for? It is not even part of the Computer Networking program (the first two Microsoft requirements were, the MCP and MCSA: Sandra did not even know what these acronyms stood for.

When I told Sandra why I wouldn't be able to start in June (my wife and I share a vehicle right now until I can get my truck repaired: my classes would be from 6pm -10pm, and my wife and I would not be able to share one car with my class schedule), she continually insisted I was 'finding an excuse for putting off my education'. That is complete bullshit. I was very offended by her language, and I walked out of the meeting with no desire whatsoever to continue my education at Beta Tech Used Car Sales - er, I mean, Beta Tech.

I would advise anyone considering furthering their education to not consider Beta Tech. They are only interested in one thing: money, money, and more money.
