Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
This breeder Bethany Pratt will lie to you and sell a puppy right out from under you with no regard for the person or their feelings whatsoever and no matter if she had led you to believe that she was reserving this pup for you...  When she is called out on her unfair and unethical practices - instead of accepting responsibility - she tries to turn it around on the prospective customer and say that they are not a qualified home. Excuse me, but I am a LONG TIME show bloodlines shih tzu owner with impeccable references - the nerve of her to question my home. I am EXACTLY the type of home any reputable breeder would be thrilled to place their puppy with.

This breeder is highly unethical
and she is WRONG to play with people's heart strings in this manner. If this is how she treats decent and honorable people, how must she treat her dogs and puppies behind closed doors?  When you have made a mistake, accept responsibility for it. Apologize, and work to remedy the situation. Do NOT try to lie and turn it around on the person you have already hurt. Do you not have a conscious?  Breeders such as this do not deserve the dogs they have. Karma is a b-tch.  This breeder is also in violation of local laws which limit the number of adult dogs one can keep at one location. She lies to the city as well. What else does she lie about? I do not recommend this breeder. AVOID Bethany Pratt and her Shih Tzus.

This Review Was Filed By Tanisha Breton in Retaliation For Bethany Blowing the Whistle When She Found This Person Has a Fake Rescue

#2General Comment

Fri, April 26, 2019

Bethany Pratt posted on Ripoff Report that Tanisha Breton had made up a rescue to get funds for a dog with genetic issues that Breton had bred herself. Breton was claiming she rescued sick dogs, and soliciting fund for this "rescue." She may have even got shetler certification, but definitely didn't take in any dogs, all the money was for a puppy she herself had bred, though she continues to breed the parents despite the genetic issues of the puppy, and many of the other puppies she has bred.

Anyway, Pratt found out Breton was doing this, and posted it on Ripoff report, to try to inform people who were donating, and alert people that might want to buy these toy Yorkies that had all these health problems.

Right after Pratt blew the whistle, all these horrible reports happened, all on the same day. Most of them were copied and pasted from other horrible stories about completely different breeders. See my comments on other reviews on here for Bethany Pratt for links to all the reviews, and where they were copy and pasted from, and links to court sites which show all the fraudulent behavior of Tanisha Breton.

Basically, all you need to know, is all the negative reviews published against Bethany Pratt on November 28th, 2012, seem to be very clearly from a known scam artist, Tanisha Breton, whom Bethany Pratt blew the whistle on.

Although I don't know anything else other than that about Bethany Pratt (I only found this looking into the lies of the scam artist), I think it clearly shows Pratt cares more about protecting dogs and consumers than she cares about money, as she clearly knew Breton would retaliate and try to hurt her reputation. In my opinion, a good breeder does what is right even if the consequences might hurt them, and to me it looks like Pratt did just that. Good for you, Bethany Pratt.
