Better Built Daytona Automotive Fraudulently took money for headliner and didn't deliver. Kissimmee, Florida
Found ad on craigslist for Automotive Headliner installation. Called and a gentleman who said his name was Danny came out that Sunday to install headliner. After looking at my headliner, told me that it would be a better match to order an OEM replacement for $150. He asked for $ up front and wrote me out a receipt. Not thinking, I gave him the cash. That Friday, the day the headliner was to come in, no one called. I contacted "Danny" that Saturday via text. "Product came in a wet box, had to reorder." That was all that was said. Another week went by and no word. I contacted "Danny" again. "Product is in, can install Friday." I asked if it could be done on Saturday as my schedule wouldn't fit Friday. Now all of a sudden he only works Monday through Friday! I rescheduled my appointments and made myself available that Friday. No show, not answering phone. Long story short, he promised to ship me the product (more than a week ago) which I paid for (more than a month ago) and now is no longer answering my phone calls at all. This guy is a low life thief. STAY AWAY! I will be contacting the authorities and my attorney regarding this, as well as reporting it to the FBI as this is internet FRAUD. I will report any updates as they occur. PLEASE, if this story sounds familiar to you, PLEASE post it here. Don't let others become victims to this.
