I regret that the consumer feels this way. However the company that she has spoken about Has an Unsatisfactory record with the BBB. This company is also not a member of the BBB as she seemed to indicate that they somehow paid us. This is not correct, but incorrect information posted by consumer. As far as what has been stated about her complaint....she has a few paid reciepts that show they are for " windows" She did recieve windows there is no dispute. She claims she is owed more windows. The business states she never paid for those additional windows. The consumer has No contract stating how many windows she ordered and what the price is suppose to be. How can one blame the BBB when the consumer's responsibilty is to get a contract? How is the BBB supose to guess what she paid for and what she recieved? It is highly unreasonable for this consumer to think that without showing the proof of what she paid for, what she recieved and what she is owed that the BBB's responsibilty would be to Guess. The consumer is at fault when they did not get a contract Before work is done and before any money exchanges hands. You can't then blame the BBB, when you are the one who did not have a written contract of what you were suppose to recieve and how much it would cost. Without the contract what can the BBB do? Just Guess? This is a very misleading report and consumers should not take it as fact, for it is not. Also in her complaint Numerous times she stated she did NOT want the windows but a refund. Windows are considered a special order and are not refundable unless they are defective, and then they are to be replaced. This is according to the RI Attorney General and we are not above the law. But again without proof of what she claims she is missing & what she paid for, We cannot just take her word for it.

It is also very important to note that according to the RI Attorney General Custom orders are NOT refundable. A window is considered custom ordered. The consumer repeated stated " I do not want the windows, I want a refund" If that being the case, with the paid reciept, and the contract consumer should have gone to court. I can't change the Custom Order Laws. Consumer did neither, supply proof of payment nor a contract. It disturbes me that all facts were not presented in this case. I am deeply sorry that the consumer feels this way and that with my guidence on what she needs to prove her case continually went on deaf ears.

Please remember that there is always two sides to a story. This company is NOT a member of the Better Buisness Bureau. This company also has an UNSATISFACORY RECORD A Consumer is advised that we cannot force a company to do what they want. And not all complaints filed by consumers, mean that the consumer is right, or being forthcoming with ALL FACTS related to their case. As advised the consumer should take the company to small claims court, but without proof that the consumer bought these things, what more can one do? It is the consumers responsibility to have a contract and to have reciepts of what was paid. Other wise there is NO PROOF either way.
