I submitted for a trial at BetterHelp and gave my credit card information (was required). I didn't find any alert that they will take money from my account without my permission, but the did that.
This morning they reserved from my account 45$. Nobody sent me the email to ask me if I want to be a member. That is something what user expect and how it works on completely legal websites.
I had sent only one email to my counselor and after that realized that is overrated and it does not wor for me.I didn't want to be their member.
I have sent an email to their customer service, but I didn't get any response.
I am really disappointed I will share this issue with other people. They should be alerted!!!

Hi there, our team at BetterHelp wanted to post and let you know that we are very sorry for the frustration our subscription billing process has caused you, it sounds like perhaps the subscription was not cancelled during the 7 day trial. No problem though, we understand that not everyone wishes to continue working with their counselor on BetterHelp, which is why we offer a free trial for 7 days. If there are any outstanding concerns in relation to this post and the $45 charge, please reach out to our support team via email at [email protected]m. We hope you have a great rest of your day!
