Complaint Review: Beware Easytiger Models - New York New York

Many thanks to Ripoff Report and the BBB.  Without you I fear I would have lost my heard earned money. 

I was looking for a supplier of a rare WW1 airplane in a semi built (arf) kit form.  I came across this fellas sight and was interested but decided to do some addition research on the product and company.  Wow, that's about all I can say.  I don't think I've ever seen such a horrible business as this one.  It is understanable though now to read comments that seem to indicate this place won't be around much longer.

If you google EasyTiger Models or Curtiss Mattikow be prepared for a lesson in how NOT to do business.  Duplicitous and dishonest is only a start.  It looks like his lack of customer service and honesty, in addition to the way he treats people has resulted in him being kicked off of almost every important RC hobby website out there.  Among them are RCGroups, RCUniverse, Wattage, Ebay, and AMA sites.  The odd thing is that he keeps going back there time and time again under false names so he can promote his company, and viciously attack anyone who had anything negative to say about him.  His two methods of dealing with complaints are that 1)  the buyer is a liar or damaged something on their own, and 2) if you didn't buy anything from him you are not allowed to comment.   His history on Ebay shows this to be the case, he was never wrong. He goes from site to site following people and attacking them any way he can.  It looks like he also created a new website called RCTruth so that he could rant and rave even worse without admitting who he is.  It is amazing to watch him attack the people there, and also others.  In some cases there have been releases of people's personal information such as purchasing histories, home addresses, work and family information, all the while enflaming his few followers to take action on his behalf.  It's pretty easy to see that this is his site because nobody every says anything bad about him there, and his company is the only one that is promoted. 

This deplorable tactics however seem to have resulted in his business not increasing.  After all, who would send money to this person for anything?  Although he claims he designs and creates these airplanes and nobody else has them, it is curious to see how many others actually do.  It looks like he is either lying about that, or he has to find new ways to sell his items.  A few websites have starting selling his products.  It looks like one in particular is called "Apple Hobby".  They have a website that looks just like Sleazy Tiger Models, and even has the SAME PLANES AND PICTURES.  This company was just created recently but you can't contact them by phone.  They only use an e-mail address, and their office is a "virtual" office that already has ripoffreport complaints against it.

Good businesses grow and flourish when they have good products, good service, and word of mouth is positive.  It's pretty clear that every time this man attacks a customer or otherwise, even using his phony names, that he looses 10 or more prospective customers.  I guess that doesn't sink in to someone's head when it's filled with hate and vengence?

I guess he'll have to change names now (apple Hobby), and pretend to do business from another state.  Ripoffreport users are much smarter than that though.
