Beyond Fitness, Golds Gym & Affiliated Acceptance refuses to give sessions to me that already are paid for Holladay Utah
I joined Golds gym in Nov of 2006. At the time I joined I was also approached by a representative from Beyond fitness. The rep was very pushy and coherced me into purchasing some training sessions. The trainer they assigned me to was told about a medical condition that I have and also that I was 50 yrs old at the time. This didn't seem to matter as the trainer worked me as hard as my 30 yr old gym partner. I was injured various times and required medical attention. Because of this I was unable to use all of my sessions right away. The trainer assured me that they were paid for and therefore usable at any time.
A month or so later I tried to get a sessions
scheldued but every time I went to the gym, my trainer was not there. Finally I asked another one of the trainers where Richard was and I was told that he had been let go. Then he told me that the training department
had been taken over by Gold's and no longer part of Beyond fitness. When I asked about my sessions, I was given about 5 different phone numbers which I called but did not get any help. Finally the manager at Gold's (who said he would look into it, yeah right) gave me yet another number to the Corp office where I was told by some smart mouth girl that the sessions only last 4 months after you make your final payment and that mine were now expired. I told her there was no way I could have used 24 sessions in 4 months and she said well, you have to try and use as many as you can.
I am so upset that I paid for something (money not come easily) that now I can't even use. Everyone I know (and I work for a huge company that is global) is going to know what a rip off Golds gym is.
