I bid on and won 2 rings from Bidz.com. After I paid for them I waited the 2 weeks to receive them. Yesterday the envelopes came in the mail. I paid $8.95 for delivery for each ring and they were just stuffed in my mailbox in a padded envelope, no signature required. The ring I paid $14 for, that was valued at $110, was worth about $5. The other package that had the $40 citrine and diamond ring in it was empty. There was a tear in the envelope. Funny how the bill was still in there. I got on their website immediately and sent them an email. They never responded. Since they do not post a phone number you can't call them. I tried to log onto their site today and they disabled my account. Needless to say, I would never, ever do business with this company again. From the number of complaints that I see on the rip off report, I can see that this is how they do business.

The majority of this issue sounds like a problem with the post office in the customer's area. If packages arrive tampered with, our claims department should be notified immediately at [email protected] which is explained in the Help section. If this is sent directly to customer service, it can take up to 48 hours for a response as we have to direct the concern to the proper department. Here is some helpful info that is found in our Help section regarding combined shipping options and the compare price: bidz.com/ht/help?page=shipping_us To save money on shipping costs, please send one payment for all of your items. Items processed on the same invoice will be shipped together. Please also be advised, however: bidz.com/ht/help?page=terms First Time Users Please note; in an effort to keep our site free from mischievous bidders (those who bid up the price of items but have no intention of paying for them), first time customers will be required to pay for the first item that they bid on and win. After the first transaction is officially completed, customers will be able to bid freely on other items. Customers can always contact our Live Help representatives to request combined shipping on their first order and any other orders placed within 24 hours of that. An attempt will be made to combine these invoices and a refund of the shipping costs will apply. Shipping timeframe: bidz.com/ht/help?page=shipping_us Upon receipt of funds, it may take Bidz.com up to 10 days to ship your order. During peak season, your order may take longer to ship. And finally, the Compare Price: bidz.com/ht/help?page=close_now The Compare Price is the maximum price other jewelers advertise online, for similar or the same jewelry item. This price in no way reflects an appraised value, worth, or suggested retail price. You should always make sure to have all the information provided in the description page of the auction evaluated with your local appraiser/jeweler before you bid or buy. The purpose of the Compare Price is to demonstrate the advantage of a $1 No Reserve auction. There could be many different reasons for restricted accounts and that issue could be better addressed should non-identifying information such as an invoice number or listing number be provided.
