When I googled this company and saw their "F" Better Business Bureau rating and a number of reviews that detailed their deceptive sales practices, I still entered an order because I knew I could get my credit card refunded if they did not deliver. Some reviews of the company were positive, but I have to think they were entered by the company itself.

It was Black Friday weekend, and they posted LED TV prices that beat all others by 20-30%.  I found a Samsung model that was also offered by Costco for $2299.  Bigboxsuperstore.com featured it for $1879.  So, I entered an order.

Here is what bigboxsuperstore.com sold me on-line.  This is taken from my order listing.

UN65HU8550 Samsung 65" Series 8 LED 4K Ultra HDTV - UN65HU8550   $1,879.00 In stock 1 $1,879.00

Just a couple days later, I got an email from the vendor saying that my order was under review and that I should contact them.  When I called, the customer service agent seemed to read a script "Sir, we wanted to make sure you knew that you ordered a commercial version of the product and that it does not have any of the Smart TV/Smart Hub functionality associated with the "residential" model of this same TV.  He also said that the one I ordered only comes with a 3 month warranty and lacked certain other features.  The residential model, of course, would cost much more.

When I told him that there was no mention of this on their website, he claimed that it was in there somewhere.  On the first page of the listing, there is nothing that indicates anything different about this model.  In fact, it says "USA model with full manufacturer warranty's".  On the second page, there is all the manufacturer's product specifications, and they have added "Commercial Model", but it says nothing about what this means nor that you are ordering a product that does not have all the features or warranty.  In fact, the specs state the model number that all other vendors are selling this WITH all features and warranty.

Please don't be fooled like I was with some of the positive reviews this company has created out there.  They are completely deceptive and should be prosecuted for fraudulent retail practices.

I received a clal from this vendor shortly after posting here.  They told me they always call cancelled orders.  First tried to show me the little type that said "commercial model" and explain that I mis-interpreted their site.  They offered to sell the "residential" model of the TV for $400 more -- at this point, the model is selling for about $600 more (after Cyber Monday sales), so I agreed since I need the TV.  I told them that I still feel their site is deceptive -- they could make it very clear that they offer two different models of the same product, but they don't.  I have to at least respect, though, that they contacted me and made good on this.
