BigSpot BigSpot.com Promises cash payments for long surveys, once you reach your cash-out only MAGAZINES!! Internet
BigSpot pulls the classic bait and switch on users looking for websites that pay cash for taking surveys!! I signed up for BigSpot in the summer of 2010. The sign-up process was so misleading, you end up signing up to like 20 different survey companies in addition to BigSpot - so use an e-mail address that you won't mind being spammed 24/7. Anyway, I didn't use any of the other survey sites that I ended up being registered for, but I did use BigSpot. For one, the surveys are SO LONG! I mean, you can spend up to an hour on a survey where the payout was like a buck. Their estimated time to complete was way off. Then, when you finally reach your cash out threshold (which was $25), you're supposed to be able to cash-out. They take FOREVER to release your money - they claim up to 6 weeks, but the last $1 I needed took well over 2 months to go from Pending to Earned. NOW when I go to cash out by the time I'm able to, now the only thing I can claim are lame rewards to magazines that I already subscribe to!!!!!!!!!!
