Bill Hoffman, William Hoffman STEALS DOMAINE & USES FOR CLICK THROUGH SITES AFTER 20 YRS OF OWNERSHIP. SCUM of THE INTERNET. MAJOR EGO, CYBER SQUATTER SCUM. Escondido California
After 18 years of using the same name for my business. This guy (who had registered it when soliciting an employee) decides I should no longer have access. Shuts me down and then proceeds to use my well known biz name as a click through site. Scum if there ever was any!!! He also did this to my friend who let her ranch name expire after losing her home in the serious Southern California fires! When it was first found out, many years ago, he admitted it was not his domain name and we could have it transfered. He made it very hard and ultimatley allowed my web guy access as a technician only. When I complained and paid an attorney to contact him, he responded with threats of his own and what he would do to cost me much money and grief. What's a person to do who does not have lots of money or a law degree? Check out his personal web sites sometime and be prepared to barf.

Obviously the author is Mr. Hoffman. Funny, he sounds like my ex husband. Let my statement stand for itself. Anyone who needs to explain in such detail is most definitely guilty. :)

While sites like this may serve legitimate purpose, the complaint posted is a clear example of how such sites may be misused by illegitimate rumor mongers and malcontents such as the complainer.

If Cyber Scum Bill is such an upstanding kinda guy then....hey...let me have my 20+ year old domaine name back instead of "click through" advertising for a gay dude ranch in Costa Rica. Nice guy? Yup you betcha....and NO I do not have any personal or mental issues...I just believe in fairness and treating people right. Yes, he is still a scum.

I have know William Hoffman for decades and have never known him to do anything negative. William Hoffman is one of the finest and honorable people I know. At best this person is misinformed or has the wrong William Hoffman. At worse he or she has personal problems.
