What kind of world do we live in when a con man can continue to steal from people. Lange, you will go down one. I understand you are from Chicago. Have you heard of Cicero? The cops do nothing. Every criminal in the US should move to the state of Washington. Its truly the like Wild West. I was a victim of this scum, he paid me but I had to threaten him every day. Attention all thieves and criminals!!!! Move to Gig Harbor Washington....The Land of Opportunity.

As noted above, this is the Washington agency involved in the investigation of this company and people. Unfortunately, our jurisdiction is limited to the insurance product that LANGE, et al, is using to guarantee the payment of mortgage if the buyer/renter defaults. We only have jurisdiction in this matter and are unable to assist you with the loan or real estate aspects, although I can refer you to the proper jurisdictional agencies if you would like to contact me. There is a post here on Rip Off from a Government Agency in Washington. I encourage everyone who has been rip offed by: First Commercial Liberty First William Lange Mary Jo Lamb Rae Lynn Hillard Helen Colburn to contact this agency. You may have to search under Bill Lange, Liberty First, William Lange or First Commercial. Finally, the State of Washington seems to have opened their eyes. No more bankruptcies to avoid creditors. I think prison is looming for he and all of his con women. If the State of Washington does not pursue, the Feds will have to. There is a huge organized group who will see that Lange never scams another family.

William C. Lange moved from Alaska to Washington carrying more than a million dollars in judgments against him for shady real estate and lending transactions. (Go ahead, look, it's a matter of public record.) Lange filed Chapter 7 bankruptcy (01/14/2003) in an attempt to evade his creditors, though one creditor in particular, Denali Federal Credit Union (with a judgment amount of $1,000,000 against Lange, Pierce County Superior Court Case #01-2-06624-8) held fast, and proceeded to lien Lange's home in Gig Harbor, despite Lange's attempts to assign interest in his home to his wife and parents to avoid having any attachable assets. (It's all in the court files, if any one cares to look.) Since moving to Washington, Lange has been involved in several businesses revolving around lending, credit repair services, and real estate - the same as he was in Alaska. Obviously, he's left a trail of unpaid debt, unreturned monies, and broken promises in his most recent dealings, exactly as he had in Alaska. There are several Pierce County Superior Court cases pending right now against Lange and his various businesses (FIRST COMMERCIAL CONSULTANTS INC., LIBERTY FIRST SERVICES among them). It's called a History of Fraud. On paper. For real. Do "the next guy" a favor, and report it, so they don't become the next victim.

It is good to see more comments and complaints regarding William Lange and his many companies that he is associated with. Just do a search now for Liberty First Services or his other companies and you will see the complaints adding up. I am surprised that he finally replied to a rip off report and I have to giggle to see he promises a full refund. My family as with many others is still waiting. I have filed my own complaint regarding properties in Cape Coral, Florida on 1/1/08 and have been waiting for over a year for my refund of $2900 that he and others have promised that the checks will be in the mail. My paperwork proves this was a deposit for a program that would protect us in case if the tenants default in their lease to own agreement. We were notified last April the "lap program" was unable to fulfill their obligations and our money was promised to be refunded. Inc. com reported that his company First Commercial Consultants had a revenue of 2.4 milion in 2006. Whenever you speak to him he cries that the company has no money. Rip off report is an excellent way of getting it out there about the poor practices of companys however it needs a way to unite the others since private information is blocked. I will also go to whatever length possible to make others aware of not only the bunch of companies he is affiliated with now, but all future investors will know beginning with the major newpapers in his area and TV stations. Not hard to find, we have the internet now. Consumers need to know that their family will lose when they invest or associated themselves with anything he is involved in. Keep us all updated, you have many that will join in the efforts.

After 9 months I am still without my money. Bill Lange has repeatedly promissed that it is going to take care of this but he stuck waiting for funding from some lender. I hear the same thing everytime I call or email " I am still waiting on the loan to go thru". I do not know what to believe anymore and I feel that he is possibly trying to wear me thin and hopes I will probably go away. I am going to have to turn this over the Attorney Generals Office and the Gig Harbors Police deptment to file criminal chrages against Bill Lange and his company First Commercial Consultants, Inc.

For the past 10 years we have helped many credit challenged individuals get into home ownership. We have letter after letter on file from people appreciative of our services. In the past year everybody associated in real estate or financing has been damaged in some way, shape or form. Along with that the customers that are associated with them have also been damaged. That is the case with us where, with falling real estate values and tougher lender guidelines our investors have not been able to purchase the homes for our credit challenged people. Obviously this has upset some of our clients. We typically help about 30 to 40 customers per month. In the past year we have upset some of these - justifiably so. To counter this we have arranged for our own financing so we now purchase the homes ourselves and do not need to rely on our investors any further. In addition we have and are making full refunds to all people we were not able to help. The year has brought challenges to many companies. It forces us to adjust and offer a better product and that we have now done. Thank you for the opportunity of explaining ourself.
