This company offered a 'free' sample where I only paid for shipping... and then they billed me for approx. $80!  They also automatically sign you up , without your permission, to automatic shipments.  

AND this is the most amazing part.  When you call to cancel it and return the 'auto shipment' they give you a number that must be on the package, and they don't refund you unless you put that number on the inside and outside of package AND call them to ask for the refund after they've received the returned product.  So I followed all their requests / rules - put the number on the inside and outside of the package, and called for the refund a couple of weeks later.

They said that because I did NOT put the number inside and outside of the package (which is an outright lie!!!) that they would not be sending me a refund (of approx. $80).  obviously there is no way I can prove that since I didn' t know I was working with scammers.  Otherwise I would have taken photos of the number written on the inside and outside of the package.

When I told them that this was inaccurate information, they said that they go by the word of their shipping department, and eventually hung up on me.  I called back to discuss and again they hung up on me.

It's obviously a little 'scheme' to get your money and claim that you are in the wrong. 

I did get my money back because I reported the incident to Chase Credit Card Services, and they also knew of this company and their 'scams'.

I should have done the research first before accepting their offer.  Now I know for the future. It's been a good learning experience.
