I joined the BlackPeopleMeet.com website in early 2008 for the purpose of seeking match-making services. Actually I joined another sister site called BlackChristianMeet.com since I saw this as a great possibility of meeting Christian BLack women who had like interests in African American men. After serveral weeks on the site, what was supposed to be a young black woman from Ghana, expressed interest in my profile and right off the bat, she stated she was willing to come to the US and be my wife. She was what I viewed as a picture perfect attractive black woman. I later discovered that after serveral months of talking with this lady, that I was actually talking with a picture and behind the picture was scum, a man. So let me get to their MO and how they scammed me out of over $7000 US dollars. After the person(s) in Ghana got my interest, I was asked to go to a gmail web-site to further communicate with the "future bride." I later discovered the reason for this action. After several months of communicating and trying to ascertain that this lady (scum) was legitimate, I became convinced by their seemingly genuiness that I was ready to send for my future bride.
In December 2008, I sent enough money to get her visa, passport and plane tickets plus a little extra for some warm clothes, to the tune of about $7,000 US dollars. When she didn't show up, It was then that I realized I had been duped big time. Here's the real kicker and the reason why I named BlackPeopleMeet.com as a basis for my report. I submitted numerous e-mails to the orators of this web-site and explained to in essence that these people in Accura, Ghanna are ripping your customers/clients off just like they did me, and their targets are African American men. I did not get one response from them, even after explaining how professional these people were.
