Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
at 4:14 pm on 7/12/07 i got a text stating that i have 7 downloads. I should go to blinko.com to redeem cool tones, pics or games. watch out for ipod winners! and i should either reply help stop or call 800-971-2271. i called the number provided and after several attempts i got through to a spanish speaking person who informed me that i had signed up for this service. I told her that i did not and wanted to stop all future texts which she informed that i would still be charged the 9.99 for this month and that would be it. i did not sign up for any service and i believe i was part of a scam and i would like to make a formal complaint on this company.

Blinko is nothing but a spammer. After they spammed me, I filed a complaint with the FCC, my cell company (AT&T), and their management department. I received a call from their "Director of Customer Service". You should contact her directly, and let her know you found her name listed on Ripoffreport.com. That will get their attention. Blinko Customer Service Manager - Paola Guitierrez Phone number: 305-695-3478 ext 23. Let her know how you have been charged without your consent and that you intend to file a report with the FCC. Request a full refund. If that doesn't work, call your carrier and insist that they reverse those charges. Let them know that if they don't help you, you will also file a complaint the the PUC, the FCC and the FTC. That will get their attention. Also check out consumerist.com on how to launch an EECB (Executive Email Carpet Bomb). Send an email to them and let them know you have put them on Ripoffreport.com where they will find many other similar complaints. Check their parent company also known as Buongiorno. I have taken the liberty of providing some email addresses of their executives. Good luck and let us know how it went. Lastly, file a complaint with your state's Attorney General. If they get enough complaints, it's going to cost them money. Hit them where it will hurt the most.
