It was brought to my attention that Bloomfield Marketing, which is just a single entity operation run by Joanne Bloomfield runs this scam in New York on business owners. They come in and sell Marketing Services by contract. In addition to the services not being up to par with the worst of the industry, Joanne puts the work back on the business owners telling them that they need to give her the stuff to do the work. In this case she built a basic website for thousands that had no SEO, No Lead Capture, etc basically a worthless property beyond visual info. Then charged thousands of dollars a month for marketing services she never completed! Each month she would demand payment because of the contract, but
then claimed she could not do anything because the business owner had to give her content and stories to do the marketing.

When the business owner cancelled the contract (months and thousands later) with nothing to show, Joanne Bloomfield demanded payment of the rest of the contract. Joanne Bloomfield then went and shut down the barley function
websites and retained a lawyer threaten the business owner to sue for remainder of the contract and legal fees.

The Business owner was in for a bigger surprise, turns out that Joanne Bloomfield also used the access to the business domains to transfer the domains from the business owners GoDaddy Account to her GoDaddy Reseller Account. So
while Joanne Bloomfield holds this business owners domains hostage for the blackmail payoff she thinks she'll get, GoDaddy still has failed to return the domains to business owner or hold their reseller accountable for the theft of someone else's property.

I am not the business owner, I feel greatly for this person who put their trust in someone who has taken two valuable resources, time and money. As far as the work goes, I have seen samples of what Joanne Bloomfield did and didn't do and am sad for the marketing industry to have someone out their representing us this way.

This is the opinion of a third party, but I think it's a fair one that most would agree with if all the info is made public from an actual court case, so my advice?

STAY CLEAR OF BLOOMFIELD MARKETING and its questionable business practices by

Joanne Bloomfield.
