Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

This is not where u want to lease or work. The owner Carlos say he support owner ops but he takes money. The terms of the lease and the company policies will always adjust to their not in your favor. Insurance sky rocketed from 225/wk to 545 weekly. I asked why an was told initially that i got a ticket in my personal vehicle. The ticket was thrown out when i went to court an i proved it's not on my record. Then Carlos said it's because another one of his driver's had a accident with 2 fatalities a few weeks before i was leased on. So all deductions increased because they trying to stay in business but i can't afford the difference. I mean u can't run landstar, tql, chr, Nolan an many others since their reputation is ruined with allot of brokers. Not to mention they didn't pay insurance for September so no work all month an u have to be active for 6 months to a year active authority for allot of small broker outfits. So not many options for great freight with the inconsistency. On another note, got quoted 800 month for cargo AND liability since i been hunting for another company. So it ain't my fault the insurance went up, and they company should pay the difference from their percentage if I'm not apart of that problem.

I never got the hard copies i requested concerning insurance increases. And when u do find an ok rate, u have to pay about 2k in deductions before fuel so u need to gross about 4000 to get a company driver's wage. I grossed 6k my last week after deductions my check was 2200, that was a good week there. First good week since July 4th actually cause it's the only week i went over 2k net. My first 3 months i netted about 50percent of the gross after all deductions, but last 5 months it's been about 20 percent gross to the truck after expenses. Carlos said i should save when times were better, but i spent those savings when it was no work in September due to Carlos not paying the business insurance, that month worth of insurance was still deducted from my settlement. Carlos response to me asking about it? He say he have to recoup the insurance money. Sounds like he taking my check to pay his own insurance all the while telling me how important it is to save up.

I'm being honest, i am by no means trashing this company I'm just going over the facts. If u gross 5k u should make 2200 minimum, 6k u should make like 2600 to 3600, cause it doesn't take 3800 to make 2200 in this business. I even tried to rent a truck from blue champ during breakdown. The owner charged an extra 1000 more than agreed. I started to leave at that moment. i filled out 2 apps. Well, when Carlos got the call for employment verification... He fired me on the spot. For getting a call about my employment. If u have any questions about this company feel free to ask I'm willing to share so u don't make my mistake.
