Yes, I agree it is a rip-off. However, you must share some of the blame. You said they got you drunk - you made the choice to drink. Offering alcohol should have been a tip off that something was not right. You signed on the dotted line. You say the property does not exist. If this is true it is a clear case of fraud. Is it possible the property does exist but you just don't feel you are getting what you bargained for. An attorney should definitely be able to help you if there is no property. I find it hard to believe you were told you had no case. You can still file a suit in small claims court yourself. You will be limited in what you can recover but even a small amount is better than nothing. Next time, think before you sign. It is what is in writing that counts, not what is said.
