Blue Green Resorts High Pressure Tactics, Bad Results Boca Raton Florida
I was told that I won two trips with free nights stay at a resort of my choice. Turns out all of it was a rip off. After listening to a sales guy for 4 hours on a beautiful Saturday afternoon in Michigan, I finally agreed to sign for a Sampler for $800. I thought this would give me an opportunity to see what the condo were really like before purchasing. I was given my 4 airline ticket voucher and my 2 night stay at a hotel voucher and some coupons. The tickets for the airlines were only good if I used them at a resort that required rack rates (premier rates which are typically 2 x that offered by the direct resort or hotel). I now find out that my 2 nites stay will not happen because Spirit Incentives received my information in time but because my last date (out of 3 choices) was beyond the expiration date. The had my $50 deposit since April 06. Had I not called I would not have known that my birthday trip was not going to happen! I called Blue Green who immediately informed me that they were not connected to Spirit. So why after so many complaints do they still use them. There has got to be a financial connection! I told them to cancel my contract and they basically told me I still owned them money. I guess it's time to see an attorney. I want to pull a financial report on both firms to see if someone in ownership is tied to each other.
