Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

We received a phone call about this wonderful vacation opportunity.  We would have to spend 90 minutes touring time shares, but then we would stay two nights in Ft. Lauderdale, all meals included and then drive to Palm Beach and board the Grand Celebration Cruise ship for a two night stay on Grand Bahama Island, again all inclusive.

After our two nights on Grand Bahama Island we sail back to the Port of Palm Beach and drive to Orlando, approximately 4 hours, for another two night say near Universal Studios, they advertised it wwould be in Universal Studios.  It sounded great to us and wqe paid in full $999.00.  We were told that we didn't have to actually use the trip for 18 months, plus two additional pre-paid trips to Mexico and Las Vegas, which we could take or gift to someone else at a later date.

When I called to make the actual reservations, I was told of additional fees and taxes and I paid another $396.00.  Following that phone call I made another to actually pick the dates that we wanted and again another list of "extras" was read to us incuding fees for beverages. Grand Celebration charges up to $12 per person per day, Florida Hotel surgcharges of $10 per hotel, Bahamas surcharge $10 per day, car taxes $75, car in Palm Beach $18 per day, check in at sea $100 cash, ship charges an additional $12.95 per person per day.  In other words an extra $575.00 at the time we reach Florida.

Also, I am on oxygen 24/7 and would have to arrange for my oxygen concentrator and wheelchair if necessary.

They will gladly reschedule your trip for a different set of dates with a $50 rebooking fee  but they do not give refunds.  Now that the Bahamas have been ravaged by 2 Hurricanes, Irma and Harvey, we called to check on the accommodations and were told that all were fine, but that no reservations were being taken until January 2, 2018.  That tells me that all is not fine in the Bahamas.

I am interested in getting a refund or at least being part of a class-action suit against Blue Star Cruises.  They are a total scam.

It has been six weeks since I filed a ripoff report and nothing has been done to refund our money from Blue Star Cruises.  I am going to look at the D&B rating for this company and then consider a class-action suit.  They are rediculous and getting away with their scam practices.
